Symposium of the key products of super-hard materials industry is held in Donghu Hotel in Zhengzhou from September 3 to September 9, 2010.

The symposium is organized by super-hard materials branch of the China Machine Tool&Tool builders' Association. 18 units selected from the key enterprise in professional areas of the industry, the key state laboratories and research institutes take part in the symposium.

The main agenda is to draft the special report of development of key products in the industry during “The twelfth five-years Plan” to get the support to the industry by the government and to promote the rapid development of the industry. In the morning of September 3, secretary-general Li Zhihong chairs the meeting and introduces the background of association's striving for the state support in many ways, emphasizing the importance of discussion on the development of key products and the key contents of the report. Professor Wang Qinsheng, deputy director of the Association Expert Committee, and Liu Mingyao,deputy director of the Association Expert Committee, deputy director of Research Institute for Abrasives & Grinding in Zhengzhou, point out the problems and solutions in the draft of the report. After participants'discussion, they are divided into 7 groups according to the product category,and 7 heads of the group are elected to lead groups to start working at the drafting of the report.

 After aweek of intense work, the proposal materials of all fields are aggregated tothe Secretariat of the Association by the groups on September 9. TheSecretariat will aggregate the groups' proposal materials and form the finalreport to submit to the relevant state ministries.
